NEW ORLEANS, La. – In the week four edition of the United Stats Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Regional Rankings, the D'Youville University women's cross country team climbed up one spot to No. 6 in the East Region.
The Saints are coming off the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, hosted by Roberts Wesleyan University, where the team placed eighth out of 15 teams competing just a few weeks ago.
DYU was paced by
Lilianna Peters with a time of 19:31.5 to finish 27th out of the field of 183 runners.
Elaina Williams, wasn't far off the mark from Peters. Williams crossed the finish line with a time of 19:34.7 to place 30th.
D'Youville will next be at the Highlander Invitational hosted by Houghton University. This will be the team's final regular season meet of the year before they head to the East Coast Conference Championships on October 25th.
