ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Making the short trip down east, the D'Youville University women's cross country team competed in the Harry F. Anderson Invitational held at Roberts Wesleyan University Saturday morning.
The Saints were paced by
Lilianna Peters with a time of 19:31.5 to finish 27th out of the field of 183 runners.
Elaina Williams wasn't far off the mark from Peters, crossing the finish line with a time of 19:34.7 to place 30th. The next pair to come across the finish line for DYU was
Lily Schulz and
Andrea Marquina. Schulz placed 60th with a time of 20:21.1 while Marquina finished 68th with a time of 20:28.0.
As a team, DYU placed 8th out of the 15 competing schools.
D'Youville will now draw their attention to the Highlander Invitational hosted by Houghton University on October 11th.
