HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The D'Youville University women's cross country team turned in a strong performance on Saturday, earning a seventh-place finish at the 2025 Highlander Invitational hosted by Houghton University.
Junior Lilianna Peters led the Saints, placing 13th overall out of 188 runners with a time of 22:37.8 on the 6K course. Freshman Elaina Williams followed in 30th place with a time of 23:36.7, while Andrea Marquina crossed the line in 40th at 23:57.1. Lily Schulz and Sokhna Diagne completed D'Youville's top five, finishing in 51st (24:12.0) and 67th (24:43.9), respectively. As a team, the Saints posted an average time of 23:49.5, totaling 184 points to secure seventh in the standings.
The Saints will return to action on October 25th when they compete in the East Coast Conference Championship.
