WEST SENECA, N.Y. – The D'Youville University Women's Bowling team had a strong showing in their first competition hosting the Roberts Wesleyan University Redhawks at home for a dual.
The dual kicked off with a traditional match with the Redhawks prevailing 852-819.
Summer Sega (Hamburg, N.Y. / Hamburg) had the best game of her career in the match bowling an impressive 232.
The dual then moved to a best of seven Baker format competition. Roberts Wesleyan took game one, but the Saints quickly evened the score winning the second game 157-142. The Redhawks took the next two games to take the 3-1 advantage, but the Saints fought back. D'Youville won the next three games 184-173, 131-119, and 172-163 to win the best of seven game 4-3.
