HAMBURG, N.Y. – The D'Youville University Women's Bowling team finished the 2025 portion of their season at the Hilbert Hammer Classic hosted by Hilbert College this past weekend. The Saints finished seventh out of eight teams with a 4-6 overall record on the weekend.
The Saints competed in five traditional matches on Saturday winning their first match against Hilbert College 834 pins to 788 pins before suffering losses in their next four games against Niagara University, Mercyhurst University, Saint Vincent College, and William Smith College.
Hailee Zalwsky (Olean, N.Y. / Olean Senior) was the top finisher for the Saints on Saturday placing 14th out of 61 bowlers.
The Saints came back stronger on Sunday earning three wins in baker format matches after defeating Roberts Wesleyan University 915 pins to 819 pins in game one and then closing out the day with back-to-back wins against Hilbert College. The Saints also suffered losses to Daemen University and Roberts Wesleyan University.
