COLONIE, N.Y. — Making the trip down the I-90 to face Assumption in a neutral site game, the D'Youville University men's soccer team drew with Assumption University Wednesday afternoon.

Frederick Balmforth found the net first in the contest off an assist from Dylan Danch in the 25th minute to get the scoring going. The Greyhound responded in the 34th minute as the team stood at a 1-1 deadlock going into the break.

Coming out of the half, both teams battled but neither were able to gain an advantage. It wasn't until the 90th minute when Assumption took their first lead of the game with 40 seconds to play. With six second left in the contest, Asier Fernandez hit the neutralizer on a free kick as the Saints were able to knot things up.

Harry Cooke went the distance in net, making four saves in the contest.

In their next game, D'Youville will face Mercy University on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 3 p.m.
