BUFFALO, N.Y. — Facing Mercy University on Senior Day, the D'Youville University men's soccer team fell by a score of 2-1 Saturday afternoon.

The match commenced with D'Youville displaying early aggression as Conor Livingstone shot hit the left woodwork in the opening minutes. Despite multiple attempts, including a shot by Konrad Homberg that went over the top, D'Youville could not convert their chances. The Mavs capitalized on a corner kick opportunity in the 24th minute to go up 1-0. Matthew Solorio made a crucial save late in the half to keep the deficit at one. The period concluded with D'Youville trailing 1-0.

Ethan Robinson scored for D'Youville at 46:43 to level the score early in the second half. Despite this momentum, Mercy responded with a goal in the 55th minute, regaining the lead. D'Youville persisted with several attempts, including a notable shot by Robinson that hit the right woodwork in the 76th minute, but they could not find an equalizer. The game concluded with the Mavs securing a 2-1 victory.

Robinson scored the only goal for D'Youville, finishing with two shots on goal out of three attempts. Solorio made three saves while facing ten shots.
