ERIE, Pa. – To wrap up the Grapevine Classic, hosted by Penn State Behrend, the D'Youville University women's bowling team went 2-3 on the day.
The Saints defeated Pitt-Bradford to start the day with an 829-772 win. Leading the way was
Hailee Zalwsky having a team-high 178 with
Robin Jeziorski rolling a 173.
Megan Kapsiak rounded out the trio of 170+ pins fall, coming in with 171.
In their next match against Saint Vincent, the Saints fell 980-833.
Olivia Joslyn had a team-high 190 pins with Zalwsky, Kapsiak, and
Summer Sega each knocking down 170+ pins. D'Youville rebounded with a win over Daemen, edging out the Wildcats by a score of 933-925. Kapsiak had her best game of the day, scoring 225 with Zalwsky adding 216.
In the fourth game of the day, DYU fell to host Penn State Behrend by a score of 927-878. Jeziorski bowled her best of the day, knocking down 214 pins. In the final match of the day, the Saints faced Daemen once again, this time falling by a score of 946-775. Jeriorski had a team-high 169 pins in the match.
The Saints will take a week off before heading back down to Erie will they will face Penn State Behrend in a dual format on Sunday, October 26th, at 1 p.m.
