Box Score Sparkill, N.Y.- The D'Youville University men's basketball team competed in a closely contested conference game against the Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas College from Aquinas Hall.
STAT OF THE GAME
- Willie Kondrat was a big contributor in the game for the Saints putting up 19 points, four rebounds, and three steals.
FIRST HALF
- Scored the first basket of the game coming off a three-pointer made by Renard Fontes Jules.
- Saints called their first timeout of the game after a 6-0 run by the Spartans with 13:24 left, 16-6.
- Cut the deficit to nine points resulting from a layup by Luke Theisen, 38-29 with there only being 32 seconds remaining.
SECOND HALF
- The scoring efforts by the Saints were much improved as they scored 16 more points in the second half.
- With 4:54 in the half, Fontes Jules hit a three-pointer that put the Saints back into the lead, 67-66.
- Kondrat scored the final points for the Saints in the last 22 seconds remaining in the game, 83-74.

Head Coach of the men's basketball team Andy Stark said this reflecting back upon Sunday afternoon, "I think this game was good for us to assess where we stack up against some of the teams within our conference. Our guys played hard and did well understanding the adjustments that needed to be made in the second half. Now we have to prepare and get ready for Le Moyne on Tuesday."
