Bryan Schnell is a dedicated collegiate football coach known for developing high-impact defensive players and building disciplined, technically sound position groups. With experience spanning linebackers, defensive backs, and defensive/pass-game coordination, Schnell has contributed to successful defenses at multiple NCAA programs.
He began his career at Mansfield University in 2015, where he coached the linebackers and served as Assistant Defensive Coordinator, mentoring two All-CSFL selections. He continued his success at Alfred State in 2016 as Linebackers Coach and Pass Game Coordinator, guiding one All-Conference linebacker. From 2017–2022, Schnell strengthened St. John Fisher’s defensive unit as Linebackers Coach and JV Head Coach, producing three All-Empire 8 players. Most recently, he served as Assistant Defensive Backs Coach at Central Connecticut State in 2023, helping develop two All-NEC performers.
