BUFFALO, N.Y. — The D'Youville University men's soccer team played American International College to a 3-3 draw Wednesday afternoon at Dobson Field.

The first half began with an early strike from Ethan Robinson, assisted by Finn Savage, giving the home team an initial lead just over three minutes into play. However, the Yellowjackets responded with three consecutive goals, including a pair from Pietro Botasso, to move ahead by the 35th minute. D'Youville's Luca Mansfield-Osborne narrowed the deficit with a goal in the 42nd minute, assisted by Shawn Richardson, leaving the score at 3-2 in favor of the visitors at the close of the first half.

The second half was marked by a series of tense exchanges and strategic plays, culminating in a crucial equalizer for the home team. Dylan Danch found the back of the net in the 75th minute, leveling the score at 3-3 and energizing D'Youville. Harry Cooke delivered a standout performance, making key saves, including one in the 74th minute, to maintain the draw against AIC, who faced disciplinary setbacks with red cards issued in the 61st and 83rd minutes.

Savage provided an assist for the team, contributing to the offensive efforts. Richardson also recorded an assist, helping to set up a scoring opportunity. Danch led the team with one goal and three shots on target, standing out in the attacking play. Mansfield-Osborne and Robinson each scored a goal, with Mansfield-Osborne converting his only shot on goal and Robinson netting the team's only first-half goal.

D'Youville holds a record of 0-2-1 overall. AIC stands at 0-1-2 for the season.

In their next game, the D'Youville soccer team will travel to Colchester, Vt., to face Saint Michael's College on Sept. 14. The match is set for 11 a.m. as D'Youville looks to make their mark on the road.
