BUFFALO, N.Y. – Jacob Malak paced the Saints with 10 kills, while Randy Adorno recorded a team-high 22 assists Saturday afternoon, but the Saints ultimately fell in three sets to cross-town rival Daemen at the College Center Gym.

First Set Notables

• The Wildcats took the first set 25-18 behind three team blocks and 14 kills.
• Ian De Wilde, Tymek Brzoza, and Malak paced the Saints offensively with two kills each. Adorno was credited with one kill.
• Brzoza recorded a team-high five digs. Anthony Dean and De Wilde were each credited with four, while Malak had two.
• Adorno finished the first set with six assists.

Second Set Notables

• Malak paced the Saints in the second set with six kills, but D'Youville ultimately fell 18-25 to Daemen.
• Adorno was credited with six assists, while Dean added in one of his own.
• De Wilde recorded a team-high seven digs, while Malak had six.
• Adorno served up a team-high two service aces, while Dean recorded one.
• Adorno and Dean combined for one team block.

Third Set Notables

• The Saints kept it close in the third set, working on pushing it to extra, but the Wildcats secured the win Saturday with a 25-23 victory.
• Theethat Vichitchoti, Adorno, and Brzoza all had three kills each. De Wilde and Malak added in two each.
• Adorno was credited with 10 assists, while Ian Mendoza, Brzoza, and Vichitchoti all had one.
• Brzoza recorded the Saints' only service ace in the third set.
